Reasons for Exemption
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3, Article 19. Section 15301 (c) states that a project which consists of minor repairs and maintenance to existing highways and streets, sidewalks, gutters, bicycle and pedestrian trails, and similar facilities does not have a significant impact on the environment.
Therefore, because the project includes minor repairs, maintenance and alteration of existing highways, streets, sidewalks, or similar features, the project is exempt per CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 (c).
