Reasons for Exemption
Implementation of the proposed project would result in the repair, maintenance, and minor alteration of the existing facility with negligible expansion of the existing use as well as the replacement or reconstruction of an existing utility system with negligible or no expansion of capacity and on the same site as originally located. The existing SC's are in need of rehabilitation, as they serve an important role in the wastewater treatment process. Their use or capacity would not be extended, as the mechanism would be replaced with new ones to maintain service.
