Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MEN-70308-R1C, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Howard Dashiell, representing the Mendocino County Department of Transportation.
The Project is limited to one (1) encroachment for annual removal of up to 200 cubic yards of accumulated gravel, sediment, and trapped debris. Work for this encroachment will include excavation of up to six (6) feet within approximately 125 linear feet of stream channel upstream and downstream of the Mountain House Road bridge and relocate the removed material to County Road 110 for beneficial use. No channel widening, bridge modification, riprap, culverts, or other permanent structures are proposed. All work will occur when the stream is dry and has no surface flow. Vegetation disturbance will be minimal and will include removal of one small multi-stem ash sapling within the downstream excavation area. This Agreement relies on the Notification materials and a CDFW site visit on May 22, 2025.
