Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for American Dark Fiber LLC to install 245' of 4" high-density polyethylene conduit with fiber optic cable using the horizontal drilling method and perform associated traffic control activities within Caltrans right-of-way, on State Route (SR) 101, at post mile 7.06 at Franklin Ave.; in the City and County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 48 inches, an average width of 12 inches, and a maximum length of 245 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
