Document Description
The proposed project consists of granting a special use permit to the Marin County Parks sponsored Family Fun Day at McInnis Park Hillside Field reservable site and approximately 60 parking spaces. The event would occur on October 10, 2026 between 10 AM to 2 PM. Set-up and take-down would take approximately 1 hour before and after the event. Approximately 80 participants are anticipated. The event would not include amplified sound.

McInnis Park was designed with reservable space for this type of event and there is a past history of this facility being used for this purpose. There is a reasonable expectation that this event would not represent a change in the operation of the facility and that the event would not result in cumulative impacts; significant impacts on the environment due to unusual circumstances; affect the significance of historical resources. The project is not located within an officially designated scenic highway or on a hazardous waste site pursuant to Government Code Section 65962.5.
