Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a District Director’s Order project to replace the damaged Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system of the West Point Maintenance Station located at Post Mile (PM) 34.63 on State Route (SR) 26. The work consists of replacing the existing inoperable HVAC system with a new unit to restore safe heating and to repair the gas lines serving the heaters. The purpose of this project is to replace the existing HVAC system to maintain appropriate indoor temperatures and ventilation to support continued maintenance operations. The project is needed to maintain suitable working conditions for the personnel and reduce equipment failures and disruptions to facility operations.
