Document Description
The purpose of this project is to acquire 10 acres of land from Save Mount Diablo, located at 5001 Curry Canyon Road in the unincorporated area of Contra Costa County known as the Balcerzak Property to add to Mount Diablo State Park to increase existing park lands, preserve natural resources, and provide a buffer between the park and adjacent lands. The parcel APN 080-090-006 is located within Contra Costa County. The acquisition will also serve to protect public access, conserve wildlife habitat, and maintain the land in its natural condition.
