The proposed project is statutorily exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21080.66. The project qualifies for this exemption as a housing development located on an urban site within unincorporated Los Angeles County and is consistent with the applicable provisions of the Los Angeles County General Plan, Title 21, and Title 22 of the Los Angeles County Code. As the Lead Agency, Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning has completed all required tribal notification and consultation requirements pursuant to Section 21080.66(b). In addition, the project site satisfies all applicable environmental eligibility criteria necessary for the statutory exemption.
