Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to replace the existing utility distribution pole 1897488E along State Route 138 (SR-138), at postmile (PM) 3.3, Lancaster Rd, in the City of Lancaster, County of Los Angeles. The existing 45-foot Class 4 wood pole will be replaced with a new 45-foot Class 1 wood pole in the same location on the roadside along SR-138 in the westbound (WB) direction, and temporary traffic control activities will be performed. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 78 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
