Document Description
The project consists of emergency repairs to an existing roadside drain. Stormwater run-off from Ranchero Road currently bypasses the drain and flows toward an adjacent roadway, resulting in flooding. Work will include, but is not limited to, removing a limited portion of the existing curb to redirect runoff into the existing roadside drain, repairing damaged asphalt within the drain, placing riprap at the outlet to stabilize the area and prevent erosion, and completing other minor repairs necessary to restore the drain's proper function. The work is necessary to prevent continued flooding, erosion, roadway damage, and hazards to the traveling public during storm events. All work will be limited to the existing roadway and roadside drain.
