Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Class 1, Section 15301, Existing Facilities
Reasons for Exemption
The entire project is exempt under Section 15301 because it involves the operation, permitting, and minor alteration of an existing industrial tenant space with negligible or no expansion. Specifically, the project allows for the sale of beer and wine within the subject tenant space, consistent with surrounding development. Accordingly, no further environmental review is required. Furthermore, none of the exceptions to the use of categorical exemptions set forth in State CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2 apply.
