Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Pacific Bell Telephone Company (dba AT&T California) to access an existing utility pole (#1277890E) to place a ground bed within Caltrans right-of-way (ROW) along State Route (SR) 1 at post mile (PM) 33.3, as well as perform traffic control activities, in the City of Venice, Los Angeles County. The proposed work will involve installing two (2) copper ground rods and placing 24 feet of ground wire. Excavation will have a depth of 3.5 feet, and an average width and length of 1 foot by 8 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new ROW will be acquired. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 42 inches, an average width of 12 inches, and a maximum length of 8 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
