Document Description
The City of Lathrop, in cooperation with Caltrans, proposes to improve the existing tight diamond (Type L-1) interchange at Guthmiller Road and Yosemite Avenue and State Route 120 between post miles R0.5 and R1.8. The Yosemite Avenue and Guthmiller Road corridor is a local roadway connecting the cities of Lathrop and Manteca. This arterial extends from the South Lathrop Specific Plan area north to State Route 120 then east to State Route 99. The improvements would include reconfiguring the westbound State Route 120 on- and off-ramps from a tight diamond configuration (Type L-1) to a loop on-ramp and diagonal off-ramp configuration (Type L-7), installing traffic signals at the ramp terminals to improve traffic Form adapted from Appendix C of the CEQA Guidelines September 2024 operations, widening the eastbound on- and off- ramps, and widening Guthmiller Road to four 12-foot-wide travel lanes with two 6-foot-wide bike lanes (one on each side of the street) and one 8-foot-wide sidewalk on the east side of Guthmiller Road.
