Document Description
The Portuguese Bend Landslide Remediation Project provides a comprehensive effort to address the Greater Portuguese Bend-Ancient Altamira Landslide Complex with the goal of slowing landslide movement. The Project would help slow the Landslide Complex by removing existing groundwater and substantially reducing groundwater recharge. This would be achieved through the installation of deep dewatering wells, a surface drainage system, hydraugers, and fissure filling. In addition, the Project would include grading to develop access roads to several of these project components.
