Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to replace six deteriorated utility distribution poles and one guy-anchor along State Route (SR) 138 at various post miles in the City of Palmdale, County of Los Angeles, and to perform temporary traffic control activities. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 96 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
