Document Description
The project is located along Peralta Creek (Zone 12, Line F) flood control underground channel between International Blvd, 42nd Ave and 44th Ave. The project proposes to construct approximately 1,660 linear feet of 84-inch reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), including approximately 670 linear feet along International Boulevard between 42nd Avenue and 44th Avenue, and approximately 990 linear feet along 44th Avenue between International Boulevard and San Leandro Street. The project will also construct manhole structures associated with the 84-inch RCP. Nuisance flows within the storm drain system will be constrained to the existing box culvert until connections to the existing system are made during the dry season. All Best Management Practices (BMP’s) would be used. The purpose of the project is to expand the existing underground culvert to increase conveyance capacity to meet the 100-year design flow.
