Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for the installation of 160 lineal feet of conduit from an existing power pole (SCE Power Pole 805630E) to a new 3’ x 5’ x 4’ underground precast concrete pull box and subsequently to the property line for an existing single-family dwelling at 42500 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, 90265. Installing the underground conduit requires boring and directional trenching within the Caltrans right-of-way along the southbound shoulder of State Route (SR) 1, at postmile 1.24, in the City of Malibu, County of Ventura. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 60 inches, an average width of 72 inches, and a maximum length of 160 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
