Document Description
The Alhambra Triangle Neighborhood raised their noise concern to Sacramento Transportation Authority (STA) in Sacramento County. STA has allocated funds under the “Contract STA-25-CAE-001” for Caltrans to construct a soundwall on the WB US50 to NB Bus 80 connector between the 34th St and Alhambra bridges. California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to construct an approximately 1,090-foot sound wall along the Westbound US 50 to northbound SR 51 connector ramp on the outside shoulder embankment between 34th Street and Alhambra Blvd to reduce noise. It also proposes replacing drainage systems and luminaries.
