Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), using state funding, is
proposing to use a Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt (RHMA-G) overlay with isolated Digouts on State Route (SR) 299 in Trinity County. The existing pavement will be cold planed to depth of 0.10’ before the application of a 0.10’ RHMA-G overlay to match the original grade. All work, including shoulder backing, will be limited to the established road prism and not involve new ground disturbance. Roadside signs may be replaced if requested by District 2 Office of Complete Streets. There will be no increase in disturbed soil area or impervious surface.
