Hearing to consider a request by Ronald and Heather McKenna for a Minor Use Permit to allow for the construction of single-family residence within the South County Highway Corridor area and a Variance (N-DRC2025-00035) to allow grading on slopes exceeding 30 percent, and an Amendment to Parcel Map S990084/CO99-0254 (AMEND2026-00004) to allow the proposed height of the single-family residence to exceed 20 feet. The project proposes construction of an 11,446 square foot three story residence, which includes an attached garage, gym, mudroom, mechanical room and decking; a private driveway and a fire turnaround. The project also includes approximately 0.63 acres of grading and 0.88 acres of site disturbance on an approximately 21.86-acre parcel. The proposed project is within the Residential Rural Land Use Category and is located on Ridgecrest Place, east of 1005 Ridgecrest Place in the South County Sub Area of the South County Planning Area.
