Document Description
The Campbell Well Field (CWF) is a groundwater facility comprised of three production wells and associated utility infrastructure owned and operated by Valley Water, located at 47 Maravilla Court, Campbell, CA. The Project is to decommission Well B (State ID# 07S01W27P009) of the CWF. Well B is located within a pump house near a residential area (see Figure 1). The pump house is located within an approximately 1,800 square foot level and paved area on Valley Water owned land. Overhead access for well decommissioning activities is through a 4-foot by 4-foot skylight in the roof of the pump house. The well would be sealed with cement poured in one continuous event and will be installed to the level of the top of the well casing and smoothed to match the existing pump pedestal surface. Within the paved area is a storm drain that discharges directly into San Tomas Aquino Creek, which is located approximately 0.4 miles west of the western boundary of the site. All vehicles and equipment will access the site using the sole ingress/egress access point off Campbell Avenue.
