Document Description
To install a temporary utility pole, overhead power and fiber optic line crossing, and associated underground conduits as part of the larger solar farm project that will connect to the Sankey Diversion facilities permitted by Board Permit No. 18491. The scope of work includes installing (1) the temporary utility pole, set to a depth of 12 feet and backfilled with controlled low-strength material (CLSM), on the waterside of the levee, (2) approximately 80 linear feet of underground conduit from the utility pole to the existing control building at a depth of approximately four feet and backfilled with CLSM, and (3) an overhead power and fiber optic line that crosses the levee crown with a minimum vertical clearance of 25 feet. The base of the temporary utility pole sits above both the 100-year and 200-year water surface elevation. The pole will be set within the prism of the original waterside levee as originally constructed with the original federal project; the temporary pole and utility trenches will be backfilled according to Title 23 standards. All aerial clearance for overhead lines, construction activities and placement of materials will comply with California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Waters, Division 1 (Title 23) standards.
