Document Description
The City is proposing to demolish two structures currently used as DPU’s O&M facilities. The project consists of hazardous materials abatement, demolition, vegetation removal, and disposal. In total, the O&M building is approximately 295,225 gross square feet in size, with a building footprint of approximately 162,320 square feet. The maintenance shop building is approximately 1,000 square feet. The project is limited to demolition activities and does not include construction of new structures or operational uses. During demolition, any excavated areas and the existing basement would be backfilled to match existing grade of the project site. The demolished areas would be fenced to prevent entry. The parking lot would remain in operation as parking and storage.
