Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under Division 45, section 78000 et seq., is considering approval of a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) to address contaminants of concern in groundwater, soil, and soil vapor in an area measuring approximately 2.3 acres at the Former Freeman Products site. The RAP was prepared to address the presence of chemicals of potential concern (COPCs) in subsurface soil vapor, soil, and groundwater at and downgradient of the Site. The recommended remedial alternative consists of implementing in-situ bioremediation (ISB) at 57 locations across the project site (50 new and seven existing locations for injection wells) plus monitored natural attenuation and implementation of institutional and engineering controls.
