Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to install a new utility distribution pole along State Route (SR) 1, at postmile 16.78 in the City of Torrance, County of Los Angeles, as well as to perform temporary traffic control activities. The project proposes to install a new 55-foot Class 2 wood distribution pole (4871522E) on the roadside, in line with the existing overhead conductors, along SR-1 in the northbound (NB) direction. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 144 inches, an average width of 36 inches, and a maximum length of 36 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
