Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to install a new guy anchor for utility pole 178596E within the Caltrans right-of-way, in the westbound direction of the Interstate 10 (I-10) on-ramp at Garfield Avenue, at postmile PM 23.92 in the City of Alhambra, Los Angeles County, as well as to perform temporary traffic control activities. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 84 inches, an average width of 48 inches, and a maximum length of 48 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
