Document Description
Caltrans proposes a project to improve pedestrian mobility near Pine Street on State Route (SR) 89 by installing a Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacon (RRFB) system. The project is located both in El Dorado and Placer Counties, along SR 89, between Post Mile (PM) ED 27.38 and PLA 0.12. This project is needed to increase the safety and pedestrian visibility for the midblock crosswalk.
All work will be within existing Caltrans right of way, and no new pavement will be required. Project will not require staging or temporary construction easements.
