Document Description
Pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1652, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife has approved the South Creek Streambed Profile Restoration Project submitted by the White Buffalo Land Trust. The primary purpose of the project is to restore degraded stream channels and floodplain function through habitat improvement, sediment control, bank stabilization, and large woody material enhancement. The project will mediate the limiting factors of riparian dysfunction and spawning requirements. The species likely to benefit from this Project include southern California steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss).
