Site Plan Approval Modification to modify an existing telecommunication facility to include: a) installation of a 15-foot pole extension on an existing faux monopine; b) installation of eight (8) antennas; c) installation of eight (8) Remote Radio Heads (RRH’s); d) installation of appurtenant cables, mounts, and equipment on the tower; e) expansion of ground lease area by 198 square feet; f) expand 6-foot tall security fencing, with earthtone privacy slats, around newly expanded ground lease area; g) installation of batteries to support the carrier’s equipment for a minimum of 24-hours; h) installation of four (4) equipment cabinets; i) installation of one (1) GPS unit; and j) installation of appurtenant cables and equipment within the ground lease area.

Reasons for Exemption
There is no reasonable possibility that the project would have a significant effect on the environment or damage scenic resources because there will be only minor changes to the existing telecommunication tower and minimal improvements within the ground lease area. Based on the proposed project as described above, the Telecommunication Facility Site Plan Approval Modification meets the criteria for eligibility under Item No. 2 of Appendix B of Napa County’s Local Procedures for Implementing CEQA (Additional Categorically Exempt Projects in Napa County). The project is not on any lists of hazardous waste sites.
