Document Description
California State University Channel Islands proposes to repair and replace failed or obsolete minor heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment and associated building-control components within existing academic buildings on the CSUCI campus.
Work would occur entirely within existing building interiors and would restore operation and control of existing HVAC systems. The project would not expand building area, capacity, occupancy, or use and would not involve exterior construction, site preparation, or ground disturbance. Construction is expected to take approximately six months, with completion anticipated by the end of December 2027.
The purpose of the project is to address deferred maintenance, improve reliability and operational control of existing HVAC systems, and maintain suitable indoor conditions. The primary beneficiaries are CSUCI students, faculty, staff, programs, and visitors.
