Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project consists of four (4) new illuminated wall signs, illuminated address numbers, and a freestanding illuminated monument sign at an existing commercial site. The project qualifies for a Class 11 Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15311(a) of the CEQA Guidelines, which applies to the construction, or placement of minor accessory structures, including on-premise signs. The proposed improvements are temporary, minor in nature, are accessory to the existing commercial use, and do not involve expansion of use or increase in floor area.
