Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) recently annexed Fallbrook Public Utility System (FPUD) into its service area and is in the process of updating interagency agreements. Rock Mountain Service Area (Rock Mountain) consists of 1,393 acres of land that is currently within Western Municipal Water District's (WMWD) service boundary. One property in Rock Mountain has been served by FPUD and others are served through WMWD via an interagency agreement with Rancho California Water District (RCWD). With the annexation of FPUD into EMWD, WMWD has agreed to transfer retail service responsibilities to FPUD, who would also enter into an interagency agreement with RCWD to continue to serve ratepayers currently served by EMWD. The reorganization action would have no impacts on Rock Mountain's ratepayers, as they would continue to be served by FPUD and RCWD under EMWD.
