Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number PLA-66783-R2, pursuant to Section
1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Atte Lahtiranta.
The project is limited to the modification of an existing private pier located lakeward of the
residence at 1510 N Lake Tahoe Boulevard. The project entails upgrading/updating the
existing pier girders, joists, and decking. Additionally, a new 3'x30' adjustable catwalk will
replace the existing fixed catwalk, and an upgraded 12,000 lb. boat lift will replace the existing
6,000 lb. boat lift. To install the boat lift and catwalk, two (2) H beams will be driven into the
lakebed at least 6' in depth or until refusal. The total lakebed disturbance will be approximately
0.75 sq. ft. Project activities will also include the installation of 4 sq. ft. of fish habitat
enhancement consisting of one (1) rock/cobble pyramid.
