Reasons for Exemption
The project is within a class of projects that have been determined not to have a significant effect on the environment and meet the criteria set forth in Section 15301(c), 15301(g), 15302, and 15303 of the State CEQA Guidelines and Class 1(k), (s), (x) Subsections 5, 6, 22, Class 2, and Class 3 of the County's Environmental Document Reporting Procedures and Guidelines, Appendix G, which applies to operation, repair, or minor alteration of existing facilities with negligible or no expansion of use; replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities with substantially the same purpose and capacity; and construction of new, small facilities or structures and installation of new equipment. The project complies with all applicable regulations, and there are no cumulative impacts, unusual circumstances, damage to scenic highways, listing on hazardous waste site lists compiled pursuant to Government Code Section 65962.5, or indications it may cause a substantial adverse change in the significance of a historical resource that would make the exemption inapplicable.
