Document Description
Project proposes to update the electrical service to the water treatment plant in Humboldt Redwoods State Park to correct current inefficiencies. Work will:
• Demo an existing 4-ft x 4-ft shed at the water plant and temporarily stage the existing water tanks in the road;
• Excavate to pour a 20-ft x 30-ft x 4-in. thick concrete slab;
• Reinstall the water tanks on the new slab and construct a new 10-ft x 12-ft shed for the upgraded electrical;
• Between the Albee Creek Campground Combo Building #1 and the water plant, excavate a 30-in. deep x 6-in. wide x 400-ft long trench and install a 2-in. PVC electrical conduit and a 3-in. HDPE waterline and backfill with excavated soils; and
• Along the new waterline, between the treatment plant and existing sand filtration tanks, install a new 550-gallon water tank.
