Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes safety improvements along State Route 16 from Post Miles 21.2 to 21.9 in Yolo County. The project proposes installing 4-foot shoulders on each side of the highway segment, roadway alignment and superelevation adjustment, drainage work at various locations, and safety improvement installations including rumble strips, replacing all existing signs with retroreflective sheeting, adding two new speed limit signs, cold plane and overlay existing asphalt of the traveled way within the project limits. The project will tie into existing 8-foot shoulders at the northern project limits.
