The project proposes to replace the existing Berths 1 and 2 with a single boat dock without resulting in an intensification of the existing use. Consistent with CEQA Guidelines Section 15302, the new dock will be located on the same site as the docks that are being replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the previous docks. None of the exceptions to exemptions in CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2 apply to the project or its location.
