Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number BUT-67721-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Feather River Recreation and Park District. The project consists of the annual placement of approximately 120 cubic yards of sand within an existing beach area located at Riverbend Park. This activity will occur one (1) time per year in the years this Agreement is valid. The sand will be deposited by dump truck and spread by a backhoe, small bobcat and shovels. Sand will be placed within five feet of the river. Manual removal of invasive plant species will occur once a year along the Feather River riverfront in compliance with CalFire requirements. No native species will be removed.
