Document Description
The County of Orange (County) proposes to develop a new Fleet Services Facility (Project) that will be a new consolidated stand-alone building for the Orange County Public Works Fleet Services Division. The proposed Project will be located at 1400 S. Grand Avenue in the City of Santa Ana (City). The OC Fleet Services offices are currently located at two locations, 445 Civic Center West and 1102 East Fruit Street in the City. The proposed Project will relocate and consolidate the existing facilities to an Orange County-owned land parcel. The primary purpose of the proposed Project is to streamline operations, reduce redundancy, and enhance service delivery across County departments. Project construction is estimated to begin in 2027 and would last approximately 18 months, concluding in 2029.
