The District has determined that its routine maintenance of the levees within its boundaries during fiscal year 2026-2027 is exempt under CEQA pursuant to Section 15301 (Repair and/or Maintenance of Existing Facility) and 15302 (Reconstruction or Replacement of Existing Facility) of the State Guidelines because its actions (1) relate to ongoing operation, repair, and maintenance of the District's levees, (2) involve only minor alterations, if any, of existing structures without any foreseeable expansion of use, and (3) do not have the potential to cause a significant effect on the environment.
