Document Description
To prepare for the forecasted severe 2026/27 rainy season, the Airport proposes the temporary installation of a modular K-Rail system between Firestone Road and Firestone Ditch. Historically, inadequate floodwater conveyance in this area caused two airfield closures in 2025 and 2026. Therefore, this temporary barrier is critical to prevent future creek overtopping and protect the Airport, a major community transportation hub, from flooding.
