Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-LAN-65708-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to RJ’s Supplies.
Maintenance activities will remove accumulated sediment that obstructs or has the
potential to obstruct the functionality of the culverts at two locations. These activities will result in temporary impacts to approximately 3900 square feet, or 0.09 acres, of bare streambed. The debris removed will be exported and disposed of off site to where it has no potential to pass into stream areas. Equipment to be used for the maintenance work will include a backhoe operated from the concrete crossing as well as personnel on foot using hand tools as needed to assist with operation of heavy equipment.

Reasons for Exemption
Class 1, Section 15301 consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use. This Project allows maintenance activities for an existing low-water Arizona crossing at North Ranch and a paved crossing with culverts
underneath at Middle Ranch. These facilities are existing and there is no proposed expansion or change of use to these facilities. Activities would consist of removal of accumulated sediment and debris to ensure the facilities remain useable by vehicles accessing the properties.
