Reasons for Exemption
Under D.10-12-004, the CPUC Commission determined that these projects planned by Mobilitie (now Boldyn) would fall within one of several categorical exemptions under CEQA. On November 3, 2023, a Tier 1 Advice Letter was approved by the CPUC Telecommunications Division, permitting Mobilitie to change their name to Boldyn and thus, retaining Mobilitie’s certificate of public convenience and necessity.
