Under D.10-12-004, the CPUC determined that the projects proposed by Mobilitie, now Boldyn, would qualify as exempt under one or more CEQA categorical exemptions. On November 3, 2023, a Tier 1 Advice Letter was approved by the CPUC Telecommunications Division, permitting Mobilitie to change their name to Boldyn and thus, retaining Mobilitie’s certificate of public convenience and necessity.
