Liberty Middle School and Career Technical Education Program Project

The proposed project involves constructing a new 7th–8th grade middle school with a Career Technical Education (CTE) program and an agriculture education program with a kitchen, replacing approximately 162,396 square feet of existing structures on approximately 30.82 acres. The middle school campus would include 10 classrooms, a library, administrative building, gymnasium, multipurpose room, and a central plaza, while the eastern portion of the site would feature athletic fields, sports courts, an amphitheater, and outdoor gathering areas. The agriculture education program would include a livestock barn, enrichment classroom with kitchen, storage buildings, and outdoor learning and garden areas. The proposed project would have a total capacity of 240 students (up to 200 middle school students and up to 40 students engaged in the CTE agriculture education program). Site improvements would also include two parking lots totaling 142 spaces, perimeter fencing, four existing workforce housing units, and approximately 152,542 square feet of landscaping featuring native plants, play fields, and ornamental trees. Construction is anticipated to occur in a single 18-month phase beginning winter 2027 and concluding summer 2028.
