The Lester Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Backwash Tank Rehabilitation Project consists of rehabilitation of the existing backwash tank to restore structural integrity and improve long-term operational reliability. The project includes demolition and replacement of the existing welded steel roof with a new press-brake steel roof system, structural steel improvements, interior and exterior tank coating rehabilitation, piping modifications, structural repairs, testing, startup, and commissioning. The rehabilitation will extend the service life of the existing facility, improve treatment plant reliability, and ensure continued delivery of safe and reliable drinking water for the residents of the City of Corona.
