Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit that Southern California Edison (SCE) is proposing to replace a utility pole (1112156E) along State Route (SR) 1 in the City of Malibu, County of Los Angeles. The existing 50-foot Class 4 wood utility pole will be replaced with a new 50-foot Class 1 fire-treated wood pole, with a protective barrier, in its existing location on the roadside along SR-1 in the northbound (NB) direction at postmile (PM) 50.05. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 72 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
