Document Description
The City of Redding will award a Water Tank Repair and Maintenance Contract to Superior Tank Company, Inc. The work will include repairs and maintenance of the City's 11 potable water storage tanks/reservoirs at various locations throughout the City. The maintenance and repair program will include: modifications to tanks to bring ladders, fall protection, alarms, access, and ventilation to current standards and OSHA requirements; recoating interior and exteriors of steel tanks, interior cleaning, and inspections; and on-call emergency services to repair vandalism or other issues. The term of the contract is ten years and the contract will expire in 2036.

equipment, and topographical features involving negligible or no expansion of use. The existing water tanks and reservoirs will be repaired and maintained, and the activity will not result in expansion of use. The action areas have been reviewed
and they do not have significant value for wildlife habitat or other environmental resources. The project has no potential to have a significant effect on the environment.
