Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to install wrong-way driver packages, consisting of installing and/or replacing signs, restriping, and installing modified object markers, at the exit ramps on Interstate 80 at various post miles in Nevada and Placer Counties. The purpose of the project is to upgrade existing ramps with wrong-way driver prevention enhancements and to comply with the 2026 California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CAMUTCD) wrong way driver prevention requirements.
