Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a highway maintenance project to install culvert lining along
Routes 23, 33, and 101 at various locations within Ventura County. The proposed
project will improve safety by restoring culvert health and preventing structural
deterioration of the culverts which will prevent ponding, flooding, and erosion. The
proposed work will utilize methods of Cast-In-Place Pipeliner (CIPP), Machine Spiral
Wound Pipeliner (MSWPP), and Spray-In-Place Pipeliner (SIPP) to line and repair 11
culvert sites that have lost serviceability due to clogging, age, and degradation. No
public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired.
